Four young apprentices accidentally release a realm-devouring Mist while trying to release their own academy and discover the prism they were fighting was never a prison.
It was holding something back.
Deep inside the Academy of Flames, four young mystlings—Sori, Wyvie, Kitsu, and Chimi—awaken to a realm gone wrong. The blast has left them alone: no teachers, no other mystlings, no way out. The Academy’s power is draining by the hour, and a sickly yellow-green Mist is creeping through the halls, devouring every trace of Glimmer it touches.
They experiment, argue, invent, and fail—then try again—using real principles of chemistry, circuits, sound, and energy transfer to turn science into glimmer-powered magic.
Their goal: restart the Glowb, the living core connecting all six Academies, before the last Glimmer dies. Their plan even seems to work—until they realize the prism was never keeping danger out. It was keeping the Mist locked in.
